One of the most interesting aspects of this visit
is the real demonstration of the various phases
of log sawing through the operation of the Venetian
sawmill and of wheat grinding in an old reconditioned
mill. The itinerary, well marked by specific signs,
also leads to the ferruginous springs that were
already well-known in the past and today still an
attraction in Bresimo. The visit then proceeds to
the Altaguardia castle, offering a panoramic view
of Valle di Non, and ends at the Basilica Sanctuary
of Santa Maria dell'Assunta in Baselga. This famous
national monument is of late medieval Romanesque
origins and contains some lovely 15th and 16th century
frescoes.
