A natural garden of scents and colours
…

 Even
the simple amateur will greatly enjoy the abundant flora
(that includes some very rare species), the colours of the
flowers, the freshness of the waters all of which become
a relaxing, pleasant and instructive pastime for anyone
entering these natural “arboretums”. The Maddalene
is equally rich in animals too.The great variety of landscapes
is matched with the multiplicity of habitats typical of
Alpine fauna. All you need to do is arm yourself with a
camera and … patience. If we are discrete and silent,
the wild animals are sure to award us exciting mementoes
of our stay in Valle di Non.As the ideal holiday venue, Valle
di Non has managed to reconcile its hotels and qualified
tourist services with its precious natural resources: the
peacefulness of the forests, the fresh and sparkling air,
the genuine products of the land, the splendour of its sweet
and varied landscapes.

Secular
trees witnesses to the passing of time

At Bresimo, along the road that leads
to malga Bordolona, stands one of the oldest trees of
Trentino, a larch 600 years old.It is located in the locality
called 10 case and is a lovely specimen with a trunk 6.30
metres in diameter. It is 40 metres tall, but its special
attraction lies in its many branchings. In fact, at the
height of 2 metres the tree branches out into 3 parts,
each of which then bifurcates. At Cagnò, in the
garden of the De Pretis residence, there is Trentino’s
largest sequoia that stands 30 metres high and has a 3
metre circumference
